Whitby was one of those special animals which you have a bond that is equal to or more than with any human. He was very intelligent and had different meows for different things - treats, cuddles, litter tray change, open the back door because he didn't want to go through the cat flap, turn the heated blanket back on as it had gone one.... He was more human than cat and so loving. He battled heart disease and kidney disease for many years. He had an active life and very happy even though he rattled with his morning and evening pills.
